Our US Patent related to manufacturing process of metallic liners for composite cylinders, enables to reduce manufacturing cost over the prior art processes and provides for innovative business model to adapt product mix for various applications catering to variety of end users. We have initiated steps to monetize the patent by collaborating with an established organization in India by providing access to patent and technology transfer and consultation to manufacture high pressure composite cylinders. The product is a regulated (ISO Type 3) composite cylinders for various applications including alternate fuel vehicle (AFV) storage tanks, and bulk Natural Gas transportation for remotely located energy plants and refueling stations.The basic difference between the prior art practiced over 70 years and the patented process consists of eliminating certain front-end manufacturing processes such as forging and flow-forming which requires substantial labor, time, energy and CapEx.
