Patented process to substantially reduce manufacturing cost

Innovative Aluminium liner for 3 Composite Cylinders

How will it be a game changer for AFVs?

Because a Light Weight Type 3 Composite Cylinder is

Twice as strong, less than half the weight and safer than Type 1 or Type 2 (steel) cylinder and superior to Type 4 Cylinder

1

2

Allows increased range per gallon/litre and travel distance between refuelling

Corrosion and fatigue resistant, hence longer life expectancy

3

4

Type 3 CNG cylinder weight, as compared with Type 1 or Type 2, favorably affects Gross Vehicle Weight Rating(GVWR), hence increased payload, increased brake life, and reduced maintenance costs.

Because Vinjamuri Innovations’ versatile process enables . .

Significantly reduced manufacturing costs

Type-3 Composite Cylinders

Our patent-protected, fibre-wrapped composite gas cylinders—also known as filament- wound pressure vessels—are engineered for high-pressure gas storage. Each cylinder consists of a robust liner and a composite outer shell, providing exceptional strength-to-weight ratio for diverse industrial and transportation needs

End Caps

We offer metallic and non-metallic end caps (patent protected) designed to secure both ends of the liner, enhancing safety and durability. Our non-metallic variants are lightweight, suitable for mass production through injection moulding, additive manufacturing, or filament winding, and support custom shaping for optimal performance.

Boil off Gas handling

To minimize environmental impact and energy waste, our system utilizes ultra-low temperature composite gas cylinders to tap boil-off gas and store and transport, avoiding the high cost of reliquefication and preventing methane emissions. A sustainable innovation for gas storage and environmental compliance.

Ultra-low temperature storage and transportation

Our advanced storage system is tailored for liquefiable gaseous products using composite overwrapped aluminium cylinders capable of withstanding 100 to 1000 BAR pressure and ultra-low temperatures. The system preserves initial volume, ensuring higher gas storage per unit and enhanced operational efficiency..
